In an RS485 network in single master multi-slave configuration, termination resistors only need to be added across the receiver of the master and across the receiver of the slave furthest from the master as shown below:

A termination resistor is not required for other slaves but there is a limit of the stub (i.e distance between the connection point on the bus and the receiver). The transmission delay on the branch should not exceed one-third of the rise and fall times of the RS485 driver.
